Doubt cast on ex-West Ham boss's next move with Everton tipped as Leicester City alternative

David Moyes has been out of work after leaving West Ham United at the end of last season.

As Moyes is without work currently, the Daily Mail reports that the ex-West Ham boss is among the names that the Foxes have sounded as possible candidates for the job vacancy. However, the report also suggests that he could be in line to take over at Everton should Sean Dyche face the sack if results don’t improve.

Earlier in the season, the former West Ham manager was also linked to the Crystal Palace job after a poor start for Oliver Glasner’s side. However, rumours of his sacking have died, down meaning that the post may no longer be a possible destination for Moyes.

However, following two spells totalling six years at the London Stadium, Moyes came away with a European title after he won the Europa Conference League two seasons ago, land the Hammers their first European trophy in 58 years. His resume arguably speaks for itself.

Former Chelsea manager also on Leicester City radar

The report suggests that Leicester could be snubbed by Potter for a third time after they approached him over the job at the King Power Stadium following Brendan Rodgers leaving two years ago and also after now-Blues boss Maresca left over the summer.
