PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last trip to Anfield came in March 2024, with John Stones’ clever set-piece goal cancelled out by an Alexis Mac Allister penalty in an entertaining 1-1 draw.

LAST TIME OUT

Our last league encounter ended in a 4-0 defeat at the Etihad Stadium against Tottenham Hotspur.

We were also in action in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, where Erling Haaland created history by becoming the fastest player to reach 50 goal contributions in the competition, achieving the feat in just 44 matches.

However, his double and Ilkay Gundogan‘s goal was not enough, as Feyenoord fought back to draw 3-3 at the Etihad Stadium.

As for Arne Slot’s side, they secured a 3-2 comeback victory over Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium in their last league encounter.

They will also host Real Madrid in the Champions League on Wednesday evening.
