Everton have a managerial decision to make of their own moving forward, and it appears as if a former Toffee has taken up a new role at a new club.
Farhad Moshiri still remains loyal to Sean Dyche despite the pressure growing at Everton.
This is a decision that likely won’t go down too well with Everton fans, who have been quick to call for the sacking of Sean Dyche after another disappointing display against Brentford.
One positive is the fact that the new owners could be officially in place over the next couple of weeks, as Alan Myers revealed the Everton takeover is getting pretty close.
Interestingly, it looks as if there’s a change in the life of a former Everton boss, too, as a recognised name is set to take up a new managerial role soon.

Frank Lampard agrees to take the Coventry City job
Frank Lampard didn’t have the best of times as Everton boss.
He spent a year as Everton boss between January 2022-23, and to be fair to him he did secure Premier League survival before being axed.
However, his points per game average was shocking, sitting at just one point, which is almost 0.26 less than Sean Dyche currently averages as Everton boss.

Interestingly, it looks as if Lampard has found a new job.
It has now been claimed the 46-year-old has agreed to become the new Coventry City manager.
What has Frank Lampard been doing since leaving Everton?
Well, Lampard actually took up the role of Chelsea interim boss from April 2023 until June 2023, and that went horrible wrong for him.
He averaged just 0.45 points per game, managing 11 games and securing just one win.
Since being relieved of his duties at Chelsea he’s taken up some punditry duties for Sky, the BBC and various other outlets.
Now, his next chapter takes him to a decent Championship side in Coventry, who even beat Everton 3-0 in pre-season this year.
