Everton are considering life after Sean Dyche with a potential chase for Sergio Conceicao as their new manager, according to TEAMtalk.
The report [27 November] suggests the former Porto boss, who won 11 trophies while in charge of the Portuguese giants, is the club’s number one target to replace Dyche.
However, the report adds that the 50-year-old former Portugal international will want guarantees in terms of the project and transfers if he were to take the job.
Everton consider Sergio Conceicao as new manager
The incoming Friedkin Group have shown their ruthlessness when it comes to football management, having already sacked two Roma bosses this season including club icon Daniele De Rossi.
With the instability and chaos which has surrounded Everton of late, it comes as little surprise Conceicao is wanting certain guarantees.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The transfer budget is a primary case, with the Toffees having rarely spent big on players and noticing their squad become arguably weaker down the years.
The hierarchy currently in place are thought to be content with Dyche at the helm, but the experienced former Burnley boss is not considered to be able to take the club to the next level.

An exciting new era looms for the club once the takeover is complete, as the team move into their exquisite waterfront arena on Bramley-Moore Dock.
Everton need to, at some stage, stop treading water and look to justify their club size and huge support base with higher ambitions. Whether Dyche is the right man to guide that is what is currently in question.
In other Everton news, the club’s updated stance on Dominic Calvert-Lewin is revealed.
