West Ham United should make the most of the positive form of Callum Marshall and sell up to gain a fee on the youngster in January.

The Northern Irish striker scored again for Huddersfield Town in a 2-0 win at Leyton Orient on Tuesday night [26 November], as he enjoys a loan spell in West Yorkshire.

Marshall has had to be patient, with a previous loan at West Bromwich Albion going very poorly, as he finds his feet in the senior game.

Julen Lopetegui is attempting to secure his job safety at the club and is unlikely to risk blooding too many youngsters at this time.

Marshall will not be getting a regular runout at the London Stadium anytime soon, and he will turn 20 this week as first-team football becomes all the more priority.

A sale could be the best option for the Hammers, who could receive a neat fee for a player who has never appeared in the Premier League to date.

Marshall is progressing excellently, having now scooped eight full caps for Northern Ireland as his club form yields rewards.

If the Terriers can stump up the cash to bring him in permanently, it could be a transfer which certainly suits all parties and gives the young starlet a long-term platform to kick on.
