Mohamed Salah has been sent a warning amid his contract row
Mohamed Salah has been warned that there are five other Liverpool players who are just as important as him.
Salah has fired the Reds' surprise Premier League title challenge, scoring 10 goals and notching six assists. But after claiming a double in Sunday's win over Southampton, the Egyptian admitted his future at Anfield is in serious doubt.
The attacker is out of contract in the summer and the 32-year-old revealed that he is yet to be offered a new deal by Liverpool chiefs. That has left him feeling he is more 'out than in' when it comes to remaining at the Reds.
But while Salah has stolen the headlines by sparking a row with club chiefs, former Liverpool star Martin Skrtel believes that other players deserve their spot in the limelight.

"Mo Salah is, of course, the standout player of the season so far for Liverpool. He's been here before and done it, delivering time and time again in a Liverpool shirt," Skrtel said at the launch of Ladbrokes' "Gaffer of all Accas".
"But, aside from Mo, I think we've got to talk about Ibrahima Konate, and Virgil van Dijk, and I'd also mention Ryan Gravenberch - who has been very good in a new position in this system. Dominik Szoboszlai has been so good up to this point, but so has Curtis Jones.
"You know, he's received an England call-up as a result of the incredible start he's had to the season. So, while it's easy to say Mo has been the standout player, all of those names have played just as important a role in the season so far."
Jamie Carragher branded Salah 'selfish' for his comments (

Reds icon Jamie Carragher meanwhile branded Salah 'selfish' for his comments on his contract status. Carragher insisted that Liverpool should not merely just give the attacker what he wants.
"Right now there's obviously a big difference in the valuation. What Mo Salah and his agent value themselves at, whether that's financially or in terms of length of contract, to what Liverpool do," he told Monday Night Football.
"So the reason Liverpool wouldn't have offered a contract yet is because Mo Salah will turn it down, so they're still in talks. I'm desperate for them to meet in the middle, but I must say I am very disappointed with Mo Salah.
"Liverpool have got Real Madrid midweek and they've got Manchester City at the weekend, that's the story for Liverpool right now. Now the most important thing for Liverpool this season is not the future of Mo Salah, it's not the future of Virgil van Dijk and it's not the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold.
"The most important thing is Liverpool winning the Premier League. That is more important than any of those players, and if he continues to put comments out or his agent keeps putting cryptic tweets out, that's selfish, that's thinking about themselves and not the football club."
