Ty Bracey believes Aston Villa will take advantage as Juventus have just three outfield substitutes available at Villa Park.

The Old Lady have named just 14 outfield players in their Champions League matchday squad for the clash in B6 on Wednesday (27 November) [John Townley].

This could hand the Villans a boost in the game as Unai Emery goes in search of a first win in six games.

Villa podcaster Bracey, who features on the Villa Social, thinks that this will work in Villa’s favour when legs start to tire in the latter stages.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “They are travelling very light but there could be a reason behind it.

“You can go from no injuries to a substantial number of injuries in one game or international break, it’s a sticky situation.

“If that is the numbers that they have then we can offer more off the bench when those tired legs start, it could be an advantage for Villa. We should be taking advantage and I expect us to have a strong bench.

“It can only work in our favour to have that depth on the bench. *They are going to be limited in terms of what they can do with their lack of subs.*“

The Villans have had strength in depth throughout the season despite not ripping up any trees, especially with a run of poor form in recent weeks.

The prospect of facing a Juventus side with little to no impact coming from off the bench could give Emery’s side the chance to capitalise.

With options like Jhon Duran typically on the bench, the impact against tired legs could be the difference between a win and another draw or defeat.
