Darts star Luke Littler has insisted that he ‘agreed’ with the call that Ruben Amorim made with one Manchester United player against Ipswich Town on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim took charge of his first Manchester United match on the weekend and the Red Devils secured a point from their 1-1 draw at Portman Road.
United impressed during the early stages of the Premier League contest after Marcus Rashford fired the Red Devils into the lead after only two minutes.
However, the Red Devils’ momentum fizzled towards the end of the first half and Omari Hutchinson cancelled out Marcus Rashford’s opener before half-time.
Kieran McKenna’s men stepped up their performance at Portman Road in the second half, but Ipswich Town were unable to take the lead against United.
Amorim side, on the other hand, were unable to reassert their dominance over Ipswich and both sides had to settle for a point from Sunday’s draw.

Littler on Amorim’s decision with Man Utd star
Ruben Amorim implemented his three-man backline for his first Manchester United match, a tactical style that he was known for during his time at Sporting CP.

The 39-year-old Portuguese manager started the match with Jonny Evans in defence alongside summer signings Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
Jonny Evans was met with criticism over his performance, with the veteran United centre-back showing his vulnerabilities against Omari Hutchinson.
Amorim withdrew the 36-year-old United defender in the second half and replaced him with Luke Shaw for the remainder of the 1-1 draw against Ipswich Town.
Luke Littler, who is a United fan, believes that the former Sporting CP manager was “right” to start Evans in his first Premier League match as United head coach.
“It wasn’t easy last night [against Ipswich],” he told Sky Sports.
“But he’s had two days with the squad. He’s done his best to see who is fit and pick the right squad, which he did. I agree with Jonny Evans starting.
“A full week with the squad and I think he’ll do a good job. But with two days, the least we could have got was zero points. But he’s got a point. So, I’ll take a point.”

Amorim on Evans vs Ipswich
United are currently 12th in the Premier League table and the Red Devils are six points adrift from the top four after 12 matches played this season.
Speaking after the match, Amorim admitted that Evans should have been “pressing” Hutchinson more and was well aware of United’s weakness in defence.
“If you see the first half, we were a little bit afraid,” he said.
“The No 5 [Sam Morsy] was always alone, we have to jump on him.
“Hutchinson was always in the dead space, Jonny Evans should be pressing his guy, but when we don’t have the training and it’s hard to see say all the reactions to the players.”
