La Liga giants Barcelona have been joined in the hunt for a leading transfer target by Manchester United.
That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/manchester-united-une-barca-puja-112111611)**, who point towards Khvicha Kvaratskhelia as the player in question.
The name of wide-man Kvaratskhelia has of course long proven a prominent one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital.
This comes amid the widespread understanding that, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, the Georgian international has been earmarked as a leading option on the part of Barcelona.
As alluded to above, though, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then the Blaugrana look set to be forced to battle it out with a new competitor in the race for ‘Kvaradona’.
As per Sport, citing Italian outlet SportMediaset:
‘Manchester United are willing to tempt the striker with a five-year contract for 8 million net per season plus an easily achievable bonus.’
Deco and the Barcelona brass, in turn, are keeping a close eye on the situation, with a view to a potential incoming proposal of their own.
