The team news is out for Aston Villa vs Juventus in the UEFA Champions League.
Unai Emery and Thiago Motta have named their starting lineups and substitutes for this evening’s UEFA Champions League clash between Aston Villa and Juventus at Villa Park.
The Villans are looking for their first win in six matches across all competitions following four defeats and two draws in their last half-a-dozen outings. Juve, meanwhile, will be keen to get back to winning ways after their tight 0-0 draw away at AC Milan on Saturday.
Just four places and two points separate the two teams in the Champions League standings heading into tonight, with Villa in 12th and Juve down in 16th. With the competition hotting up for the play-off spots and the likes of Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain way down the order, tonight’s result could have huge ramifications on the competition as a whole.
Rather sensationally, Juve have only named six substitutes out of an available 12 this evening, with two of those being goalkeepers. Villa, on the other hand, have one spot left void. Here are the two teams in full.
