All the latest injury news surrounding Brentford and Leicester City as they prepare to face off in the Premier League.

Brentford are back in action on Saturday when they face Leicester City looking to build on their solid start to the season. The Bees are currently in 11th place, drawing with Everton last time out.

Thomas Frank will be delighted with how his men have started the season, with 17 points already in the bank, while just two points separate Brentford from the top six. This will be an important game for the Bees because of the run of fixtures that follow this one. The Bees face Aston Villa, Chelsea and Newcastle United after taking on Leicester at home, and they will value this three points as a result. Here we round up the injury news surrounding both sides.

Issahaku Fatawu - Out

Steve Cooper confirmed last week: “He's had a serious injury, ACL, that is going to rule him out for the rest of the season. We have to support him now in every way in making his rehab and his return as smooth and productive as possible.”

Ricardo Pereira - Out

Pereira will be sidelined long term, with Cooper having said: “Ricky is more conclusive. 'It's a serious muscle injury that will rule him out for 3-4 months, so it's a real blow for everyone, especially him, and it's a bad time, but now we need to support him with his recovery.”

Jakub Stolarczyk - Out

The goalkeeper remains sidelined. Cooper has said: “[He] had a similar injury [to Daka]. His rehab is slightly different, with him being a GK. He’s able to be out on the grass a little more, still with the medical and rehab team. He’s in that same period towards the final stage of rehab.”

Harry Winks - Out

Winks is not likely to be out for too long, but a muscular injury has him sidelined for now. “You could see the way Winksy went down; it was likely to be a muscle injury, and in that moment, you need to make the change as quick as you can,” Cooper said after the injury.

Josh DaSilva - Out

DaSilva will be out until the new year with a knee injury. Frank has said: “Josh (Dasilva) is further down the line. Rico (Henry) is progressing, but it's still not like he will play next week.”

Christian Norgaard - Out (Suspended)

Norgaard is suspended following a red card.

Gustavo Nunes - Doubt

Nunes has an outside chance of playing. He played in a B team game last week and was said to have just missed out on contention.

Kristoffer Ajer - Doubt

Frank said last week: “Ajer is still out, unfortunately. We were optimistic. We thought that the prognosis looked like he could be available for Fulham, but when we started loading the foot it didn’t respond as well as we’d hoped.”

Aaron Hickey - Out

Hickey is sidelined following surgery. A statement read at the time: “The procedure involved the removal of the previous repair sutures and making a new tendon repair. Now we aim to start afresh and help Aaron return to his previous level of health and performance.”

Rico Henry - Out

Henry is getting closer but remains in need of minutes in his legs. Frank has said: “We are extra cautious. When he puts his foot on the grass we want to be as sure, so there are some strength markers we need to tick to be 100 per cent sure. If everything goes to plan, it will be a week until he can be involved in a game.”
