Rayo Vallecano defender Andrei Ratiu has emerged as a possible transfer target for Barcelona, according to the latest reports in Spain.
The 26-year-old right-back has been impressing with Rayo in La Liga and his name was brought up during talks at the club this week.
Ratiu shares the same agent as Pedri and has attracted interest from Deco who asked about him during talks over a new contract for the Barca midfielder, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Ratiu has been a regular for Rayo this season and has a goal and an assist to his name. His contract runs until 2028 and it’s thought he has a release clause set at €25 million. He’s also a full international with Romania and has won 27 caps for the national team.
The defender actually played at Euro 2024 with Romania, with dyed bright hair, leading to him being nicknamed ‘Sonic’ after the famous hedgehog as he’s also known for his speed.
Flick currently has Jules Kounde and Hector Fort as his right-back options, although it’s unclear if the Frenchman will stay out wide for the long term or revert back to his preferred position in the middle.
