Mohamed Salah's net worth, childhood sweetheart wife, house that 'looks like a hospital'

Mohamed Salah has an excellent support network around him

Few players in world football have been able to hold a light up to Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

The Merseysiders' Egyptian King has been in electric form this season, scoring at will and winning games almost single handedly. Salah, 32, secured a vital win for Arne Slot's side during their 3-2 away victory over Southampton that saw them open up an eight-point lead over second placed Manchester City.

All Salah is currently missing is a new contract to keep him at Anfield for many more years. The ex-Chelsea forward recently claimed he has heard little from the club in regards to a potential new deal.

As Salah continues to propel Liverpool forward, here is everything you need to know about the iconic star.

Mohamed Salah told he's just as important as FIVE other Liverpool players amid contract row

Mohamed Salah net-worth

At present, according to Celebrity Net Worth, Salah is understood to be worth around £71.19 million. He is currently believed to be earning around £350,000 per week at Anfield, which is around £18m over the course of a year.

In another study that was published by Harvard Business School, the Egyptian's long-term adviser and friend Rammy Abbas Issa claimed that when image rights and commercial activities are also taken into account, Salah could earn around £1m every week.

When all of the above is considered, it's believed that Salah would earn between £46.8m and £53.7m-a-year.

Salah's wife Magi has been by his side through every step of his footballing journey. The pair have been with each other throughout their whole life, having grown up in the same Egyptian village.

They also went to Mohamed Eyad Al-Tantawi School. They regularly return to their homelands during Ramadan, so he can share his wealth with members of his community.

The pair married in 2013, just before Salah moved from Swiss side Basel to Chelsea. The pair have two daughters Makka and Kayan. Moreover, it's also understood that she attended Alexandria University, graduating with hard-earned degrees in biotechnology.

House like a hospital

As can be seen in his chiselled body, which he was more than happy to flaunt after netting the winning goal against Southampton, Salah has dedicated everything to his football career. Despite being 32 and possibly approaching the final years of his career, Salah has the fitness, speed and physique of people several years his junior.

To achieve this level of fitness, Salah has had to sacrifice the aesthetics of some parts of his home. In an interview with France Football, Salah opened up about the areas of his home he has dedicated to his personal fitness.

He said: "Two rooms in our house are dedicated to different fitness machines, bodybuilding. At home I can also do cryotherapy, there is a hyperbaric chamber. I am constantly looking to improve my physical condition. It's true that I like to say that my house looks like a hospital, [but] my wife doesn't like that! [She] says that I spend more time with my machines than with her!"
