Hanworth Villa were looking for a third win in a row as they travelled to Portsmouth to take on Moneyfields, but their hosts were confident, not only because they were also looking for a third win in succession but because they defeated a Portsmouth FC side three-nil in a local cup game in midweek. The Villains went ahead seven minutes before half time, Sam Mead the scorer, but the Moneys hit back with twenty minutes to go, James Franklyn the scorer, and within five minutes were ahead, Steve Ramsey scoring from the spot. The visitors weren’t happy with that and quickly equalised through Sam Merson, and then, four minutes into added time, the Villains won the match- Alex Body making it three-two. Three red cards- Ali Mansaray for the Villains, Jack Lee and Callum Smart for the Moneys- ended the contest, but the visitors had the points and fourth place.
