'I don't remember saying that': Simon Jordan left red-faced over Nottingham Forest blunder

Simon Jordan got a taste of his own medicine recently as he was left red-faced after being called out for a prediction he made about Nottingham Forest.

Nuno Espirito Santo deserves massive credit for what he’s managed to achieve already this season, despite suffering two losses on the bounce.

Nottingham Forest have shocked everyone this season, which has left some pre-season predictions looking rather embarrassing.

Sam Matterface came out in October to admit to his mistake when he predicted for Nottingham Forest to get relegated, as more and more pundits come out to apologise.

Another pundit has now come out the woodworks to own up to his mistake, and that is Simon Jordan.

Simon Jordan mocked for his Nottingham Forest prediction

Simon Jordan is one of the biggest names in football radio, but not everyone has taken a liking to him.

After all, Jordan ticked off a few Nottingham Forest fans with his dig at Evangelos Marinakis for his weight back in October.

The 57-year-old has been called out for his prediction he made about Nottingham Forest being a team who will get relegated before the season started.

That hasn’t turned out too well, as Troy Deeney reminded him of his blunder when speaking together on the Up Front podcast.

Troy Deeney said this when talking about their predictions.

“Your Nottingham Forest one (whilst giggling).”

Simon Jordan replies.

“I’m sorry I don’t remember saying that.”

Nottingham Forest’s run of fixtures

Nottingham Forest have lost two on the bounce against Newcastle and Arsenal, and there are even more difficult challenges on the horizon.

Ipswich Town are next up, and they showed they were no pushovers against Manchester United in Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge.

The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa all come in the space of ten days, which could be a make-or-break period as far as European hopes are concerned.

Forest currently find themselves in seventh, joint on points with the Villans.
