Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam is likely to miss first-team training for a week due to an ankle injury, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that if he is indeed on course to return on 22 December, as reported by Premier Injuries, he would return to training 10-14 days prior to that.
Sean Dyche said on 21 November that as the stress on his foot was clearing up the midfielder could start “semi-loading” again.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and Sports Scientist, said about Iroegbunam: “Semi-loading, what Dyche said about his ankle injury, would mean getting back to activities that put higher stresses through the foot but doing it in a methodical, progressive manner.
“If the December 22 return is true, I’d expect him back in full training 10-14 days prior to that.
