Liverpool secured their most impressive win of the season so far after a 2-0 result against Real Madrid at Anfield.
The Reds were finally able to exercise their demons against the reigning UEFA Champions League holders with Arne Slot’s side making Madrid look ordinary on Merseyside, with Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo the goalscorers on the night.
Even with Mohamed Salah missing a penalty, Liverpool were better in virtually every department compared to Madrid, with Conor Bradley winning praise for keeping Kylian Mbappe quiet in what was a night to forget for the French superstar.
And Liverpool also saw something from one player that could end up saving them millions next year.

Conor Bradley could be Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold replacement
With Trent Alexander-Arnold being rested for this weekend’s tie against Manchester City, Bradley was again selected in the right-back position, with the Northern Ireland international enjoying what was his best game yet in a Liverpool shirt.
Lauded by Steve McManaman after a sensational tackle on Mbappe, Bradley introduced himself to the world in a big way against Madrid, with the Northern Ireland international proving he can mix with the best and come out on top.
And with Alexander-Arnold creeping towards a move to Madrid next year, Bradley last night showed he could be a dream replacement for the England superstar, something that could end up saving Liverpool millions in 2025.
Indeed, with Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk also heading towards the exit with their contracts expiring next summer, Liverpool saving money on an Alexander-Arnold replacement would be huge, and Bradley showed he is the man for the job for next season.

Bradley is the obvious successor for Alexander-Arnold at Anfield
Bradley has always shown plenty of promise playing for Liverpool since breaking into the first-team last season, yet his performance against Madrid was the sign the Reds needed to know that the defender is the obvious successor for Alexander-Arnold.
The 21-year-old looked completely at ease taking on arguably the best attacker in world football in Mbappe, with the Madrid no. 9 failing to do anything against Liverpool with Bradley marking him expertly throughout the game.
And heading into 2025, Bradley is the replacement for Alexander-Arnold that Liverpool have been dreaming about, with the youngster ticking all the boxes the Reds need to move on from the England international next year.
