Former Celtic star Kieran Tierney has been pictured with some adorable pets during a visit to the Scottish SPCA in Lanarkshire.
The Arsenal left-back recently visited the Bothwell rehoming centre, where he spent the afternoon playing with the animals, speaking to staff and learning about the work of the SSPCA.
Tierney, 27, met Hank, Eddy and Hattie - the adorable Staffie puppies from a recent appeal. They will soon be finding their forever homes after receiving round the clock care.

He said: "I’m so proud to be a Scottish SPCA Ambassador, they do amazing work rescuing, protecting and finding new homes for animals across Scotland and it was great to meet lots of the team and the animals they are looking after right now.
"This winter the Scottish SPCA needs your help more than ever because more and more animals need their help, it costs £63,000 a day to do what they do and they rely entirely on donations.

"Everyone in Scotland can be part of the rescue, whether that’s donating or volunteering your time or fostering or adopting an animal, there’s lots of ways you can help."
