Sean Dyche could make two changes to his Everton side against Manchester United on Sunday in a bid to save his job at Goodison Park.
The Toffees are winless in their last four having won just once since the end of September and pressure keeps mounting on Dyche.
Manchester United will provide a stern test at Old Trafford but failure to get a result could be the start of the end for the former Burnley manager.
Sean Dyche to make Abdoulaye Doucoure decision at Everton
Dyche is unlikely to make wholesale changes to his lineup on 1 December but could make a switch in defence with Nathan Patterson replacing Ashley Young.
The former was named on the bench against Brentford before appearing for the Toffees’ Under-21 side in a fitness-building encounter.

Patterson’s snub for the large part under Dyche has been somewhat baffling with him seemingly preferring a 39-year-old Young at right back.
Patterson could be the only defensive change with Michael Keane and Jarrad Branthwaite impressing in defence with Vitalii Mykelenko cementing his position at left-back.
Everton’s midfield has been subject of conversation for the majority of the season with Dyche unable to find a consistent pairing to run the game.
Everton predicted XI v Manchester United
Idrissa Gueye played alongside Abdoulaye Doucoure at the weekend although the latter was underwhelming.
Doucoure failed to have any impact in the game before being hooked for Orel Mangala in the 72nd minute and it’s a change that could be made from the off against Ruben Amorim’s side.
The Toffees aren’t blessed with much attacking depth and the front four is expected to remain the same.
Dwight McNeil will likely occupy the 10 role with Iliman NDiaye and Jesper Lindstrom adding the width.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin has had a frustrating season to date but his inclusion in the team seems likely with Beto failing to stake a claim for a place in the starting 11.
In other Everton news, an update has emerged regarding the future of Calvert-Lewin at Goodison Park.
