Ex-Arsenal star Thierry Henry couldn’t help but express all his admiration for ‘special’ George Weah when he had the chance to speak with his son Timothy, now at Juventus, after the Bianconeri’s 0-0 draw at Aston Villa in the Champions League.
Henry full of admiration for George Weah: ‘A hero of mine’
As Timothy Weah geared up for an interview with CBS, the former France international asked him to ‘say hi’ to his dad, adding he was a ‘hero’ and inspiration, as his playing style prompted Henry to tell his coaches he didn’t have to ‘stay in the box’ to score goals.
“Your dad was just special man,” Henry also added.
The exchange went on with the Juventus winger’s reply: “He was your idol and you were mine,” he told the ex-Gunners striker.
