Lisandro Martinez has posted a message following his return to fitness ahead of the Europa League clash.
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has sent a message following the news that he has returned to fitness following a short injury lay-off.
The central defender missed the Premier League clash against Ipswich at the weekend after pulling out of international duty with a back injury. He has however returned to training this week, and new head coach Ruben Amorim has confirmed that he will be available for the Europa League clash against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday night (8pm kick-off).
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, he confirmed: "Licha is ready. He didn't stop too much time, so I feel he is ready. The situation is different to Harry's [Maguire]."

The update will come as a welcome boost to United and Amorim, especially considering the other defensive injuries at the club. While Harry Maguire is back in training, he may not be risked against Bodo/Glimt.
The same goes for Leny Yoro. The summer signing is building up his fitness after returning from a fractured foot sustained during pre-season.
Victor Lindelof is also unlikely to be available. While no update has been given on the defender, he missed the weekend’s match after sustaining a groin injury while on international duty.
Ahead of the Europa League clash, Martinez has now taken to social media to respond to his return to fitness. The Argentine shared three pictures of himself arriving and taking part in training in the build-up to the match along with a caption reading “Back at home.”
The 26-year-old has been a regular in United’s defence this season, playing at either centre-back or covering at left-back. He played the full 90 minutes of the Premier League clash against Leicester before the international break, despite picking up the back injury during that game.
