£55k-a-week Everton star spotted back in training ahead of Man United

Everton have received a boost ahead of the trip to Manchester United, as a key player has been spotted back in training at Finch Farm.

Sean Dyche has brought injuries up on more than one occasion in press conferences after disappointing results, and he’s right in some ways as there have been an abnormal amount of issues.

Everton currently have Armando Broja, Youssef Chermiti, James Garner and Tim Iroegbunam not ready to feature for the first team.

Jarrad Branthwaite has been one of the biggest concerns for Everton on the injury front, as he’s only started in three games this season. But he looks good now after returning against Brentford.

However, there has been a boost for Sean Dyche ahead of the Manchester United clash, as a defender has been spotted back in training at Finch Farm.

Seamus Coleman spotted back in training for Everton

Seamus Coleman, who earns £55k per week, has missed the last two games through injury.

The Republic of Ireland international has had a very stop-start season to date, having played just two games in all competitions due to a separate foot injury.

Everton reporter Paddy Boyland pointed out the fact he’s made his return, as the club posted images of this week’s training session at Finch Farm.

Seamus Coleman’s importance at Everton

It’s the work away from the field that goes unnoticed with Seamus Coleman, as one of the real leaders.

James Tarkowski even admitted that Coleman is the real captain in his eyes, often going to the experienced defender for advice when he needs to.

Everton currently have Ashley Young operating at right-back and Nathan Patterson has returned from injury, so he’s not required there.

However, with the versatility to play at left-back, he could offer support to Vitalii Mykolenko who has struggled at times this season.
