Liverpool fans got to see something they’ve been waiting years to see on Wednesday evening as Jude Bellingham finally played a game at Anfield.
However, the midfielder wasn’t wearing the famous red shirt, despite the fact Bellingham has been linked with Liverpool for years.
Indeed, Bellingham was at Anfield as a Real Madrid player after a big-money move to the Bernabeu last summer.
However, the fact that Bellingham plays for arguably the biggest club in the world didn’t seem to stop any questions about his links to Liverpool, and before the match on Wednesday, Bellingham was asked about a potential move to Liverpool.
Indeed, a reporter from Norwegian outlet, TV Sport 2, asked Bellingham if Anfield would be his next home after an open training session at the stadium, and the midfielder had an interesting response.

How Jude Bellingham reacted to Liverpool transfer question
Bellingham was indirectly asked if he’s signing for Liverpool after Real Madrid by a reporter.
The journalist asked as Bellingham walked off the Anfield pitch: “So this will be your next home, Jude?”
As you can imagine, Bellingham wasn’t entertaining such a question and he simply laughed as he walked down the tunnel.
Bellingham is no stranger to these types of questions.
Bellingham was asked about signing for Arsenal by a fan recently, and he, similarly laughed off that idea too.
Jude Bellingham is friends with Trent Alexander-Arnold
Bellingham may not be a Liverpool player anytime soon, but he may soon be playing with one Liverpool star.
Indeed, Trent Alexander-Arnold has been linked to Real Madrid, and Bellingham could play his part in making this transfer happen.
Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold have become the best of friends since playing with one another for England in recent years.
Bellingham and Alexander-Arnold went on holiday together in LA over the summer, while Bellingham waited to get Alexander-Arnold’s shirt after the game against Liverpool on Wednesday.
Alexander-Arnold and Bellingham seemed destined to be teammates at Liverpool at one point, but, unfortunately for the Reds, it now looks like they could team up in Madrid instead.
Who knows? Maybe one day Bellingham could come to Liverpool. After all, he’s never tested himself in the Premier League, but after becoming Real Madrid’s poster boy, that does seem fairly unlikely anytime soon.
