Rafael Nadal was one of 21 stars in the stands to watch Liverpool vs Real Madrid
Liverpool produced a spectacle to beat Real Madrid 2-0 at Anfield on Wednesday night - and there was no shortage of superstars watching on from the directors' box.
Arne Slot's side turned on the style to comfortably see off the 15-time winners of the Champions League thanks to goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo.
And just as the stars aligned for Liverpool on the pitch to help them secure a famous win, so did they in the stands as a host of famous faces arrived at Anfield to watch the game.
Most notably among the Liverpool fans was a selection of club legends asLucas Leiva, Sami Hyypia and Martin Skrtel watched together, while legendary former boss Rafa Benitez was present too.

Liverpool icons of the previous era were also in attendance as Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, Phil Thompson and Jan Molby watched on.
From the Real Madrid contingent, former Los Blancos stars Michael Laudrup, Roberto Carlos and Emilio Butragueno were also spotted inside Anfield.
Former Madrid star Gareth Bale was on punditry duty alongside another old Real Madrid alumni in Steve McManaman, who was working alongside Rio Ferdinand. Ex-Manchester United keeper Peter Schmeichel, meanwhile, was on commentary duty.

There were also appearances from Arsenal legend Freddie Ljungberg and ex-Fulham defender Brede Hangeland, who were working as pundits for the game for another TV channel.
Completing the footballers in attendance, Sunderland star Jobe Bellingham was in the stands to cheer on his brother Jude before watching him succumb to defeat.
The biggest star outside of football was undoubtably the appearance of tennis legend Rafael Nadal, the Spaniard who is a known Real Madrid fan.
He was joined by actors Michael Myers - known for his portrayal of Austin Powers - and Damian Lewis, who stars in the popular TV show Billions.
