Liverpool are still waiting to determine the extent of the injuries suffered by Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate during the Champions League win over Real Madrid on Wednesday. But Reds boss Arne Slot admits it was "not a good sign" to see the duo limp off ahead of Sunday's blockbusting Premier League clash against champions Manchester City.
Bradley, who impressed in deputising for Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back and assisted the opener for Alexis Mac Allister, was forced off with a few minutes remaining with what appeared a hamstring injury.
Konate. meanwhile, took a heavy knock to his leg in a challenge that led to a booking for Real Madrid substitute Endrick in the last action of the match, and underwent lengthy treatment after the final whistle before limping off.

And while the duo are undergoing checks and haven't yet been ruled out of the weekend visit of City, Slot is braced for having to cope with having to cope with further injury setbacks.
"They are still being assessed so difficult to see how they are," said the Reds boss on Thursday afternoon. "Let's wait and see. but it's never a good sign.
"Conor we had to take him off an Ibou didn't walk off the pitch as he should after the fantastic game he played. Not a good sign.
"They are still being assessed, I can't tell you exactly where they are this weekend and after that."
Alexander-Arnold is in line for a return after his own hamstring injury suffered against Aston Villa on November 9. The right-back missed England duty after pulling out after around half an hour of that 2-0 victory earlier this month and could feature against Pep Guardiola's champions having remained on the bench against Real Madrid.
"Trent is fit enough to start," confirmed Slot.
Liverpool were without Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, Kostas Tsimikas and Federico Chiesa in midweek, with all likely to once again be missing on Sunday.
