Along with Premier League giants, many other top European clubs are also interested to sign the young Belgian

Lyon are currently dealing with lot of problems. They are fighting financial battles due to irregularities. This may result in them being relegated from the top flight French league.

Lyon moving to Ligue 2 will result in lot of their top players moving away from the club. Malick Fofana is one of those names who is being linked very heavily with a move to Premier League.

Who is Malick Fofana?

Fofana is 19 year old Belgian player who joined Lyon in January. In his first season which was basically a half season with Lyon, the Belgian attacker played 21 games and was able to score 4 goals.

This season Fofana has levelled up. He has played 16 games so far and has scored 5 goals along with picking 2 assists in those. The 19 year old also made his international debut for Belgium this year.

Fofana is highly versatile. He is mainly a left winger but can adapt and play equally well on the right wing too. This has made top clubs keeping a close eye on his progress. Now, the crises of Lyon will soon present an opportunity to intersted parties to make a move.

Lyon ready to sell Fofana for fair price

As per CaughtOffside, Lyon are prepared to sell Fofana for around €30 million to €35 million. At the moment Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa are keen to sign the young winger. Along with them Juventus, Bayern Munich and AC Milan are interested parties outside England.

Fofana can compete for the starting place with Martinelli at Arsenal. He will also have the chance to claim starting place at Liverpool, but will have to play on the right wing. This will not be a big problem for the player. Lastly, Aston Villa also have a great project going on and they may guarantee the player more game time than both Arsenal and Liverpool.
