Leicester City will face off with Brentford in a Premier League meeting on Saturday afternoon.
The Foxes will be looking for an immediate upturn in form after they sacked Steve Cooper on Sunday.
The 46-year-old left Leicester City following a 2-1 defeat to Chelsea and the club dangerously close to the relegation zone.
They have won just two league ties in 2024/25 so far and sit on a low 10 points – only one above the bottom three.
As for Brentford, they are 11th going into the weekend but their patchy form of late means it is a great fixture for Leicester to try and bounce back in after such a dismal start to the campaign.
Ahead of the tie, those in a position of power have been working behind the scenes to try and get a new manager in place.
Ruud van Nistelrooy is close to becoming the new Leicester manager and fans may have been hoping he would be in charge of the Foxes this weekend for their trip against Brentford.

Who will be Leicester City manager vs Brentford
We revealed earlier on Thursday that Leicester cancelled their Brentford press conference slot, which was set for the afternoon of November 28th.
An official reason was not given but it is believed that the Foxes are waiting to officially announce Van Nistelrooy.
However, while this hinted that a deal was close and Van Nistelrooy would be in place for the weekend, that does not look to be the case.
As per Leicestershire Live, Ben Dawson will take charge of the fixture against Brentford on Saturday.
Dawson has been leading training since Tuesday along with set-piece coach Andrew Hughes and goalkeeping coach Danny Alcock.
What will Ruud van Nistelrooy first game as Leicester City manager be
The report adds that the former Manchester United striker’s appointment remains imminent and he will be in attendance for the fixture on November 30th.
After traveling to the Gtech Community Stadium, Leicester are back in league action on Tuesday, December 3rd, vs West Ham United.
Though not yet confirmed, Van Nistelrooy should be in the dugout for that meeting barring any late issues.
Failing that, Leicester host Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday, December 8th.
