Marc Casado has enjoyed a brilliant season with Barcelona after breaking into the first team but will have to sit out Saturday’s La Liga clash with Las Palmas.
The [midfielder saw red last time out against Celta Vigo](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/11/23/24302460/celta-vigo-barcelona-la-liga-final-score-match-report-recap-reactions), meaning he will get a breather and someone else will get a chance in the starting XI.
Hansi Flick does have plenty of options available to him now most of his players have shrugged off injuries and has a tough decision to make.
The German could opt for **Gavi** to play alongside Pedri. The midfielder is back to full fitness again and put in a strong showing on his first start of the season against Celta.
Barca have been really careful managing his minutes on his comeback, after such a lengthy spell out, but he’s certainly in contention.
**Frenkie de Jong** is another player who is back after a long spell out but still looks a long way short of his very best form after ankle trouble.
The Dutchman was also whistled by fans in midweek after coming on as a substitute and badly needs game time to try and get back to his best.
**Eric Garcia** is another player fit and ready to play for Barca. Flick has preferred to play Eric in midfield this season and he’ll be hoping for his first minutes since Alaves in October.
Flick’s final option is **Fermin Lopez.** The 21-year-old usually prefers a more attacking role but is versatile enough to take over from Casado and may be an option on Saturday.
