Barcelona star approaching ‘untouchable’ status in Hansi Flick’s XI

Barcelona star Dani Olmo is closing on the status of immovable from the club’s first-choice line-up.

That’s according to **[Diario Sport](https://www.sport.es/es/noticias/barca/dani-olmo-intocables-112100959)**, who have on Thursday confirmed that the Spanish international is now considered one of the first names on Hansi Flick’s team sheet.

Olmo, for his part, of course sealed his long-awaited return to Barcelona over the summer.

And, a spell on the sidelines with an injury aside, the 26-year-old’s Blaugrana stint has since proven to be a huge success.

Slotting seamlessly into the engine room ranks of the Catalans, Olmo has acted as the perfect link between midfield and attack, on his way to six goals in ten appearances to date.

And, evidently, such excellence has not been at all lost on the part of the former RB Leipzig man’s manager.

As per a report from Sport:

‘Rotating is essential for a short squad that needs to refresh its legs when Flick has the opportunity to do so, but there are players who are beginning to become untouchable for the idea of football that the German coach has in mind.’
