Heavyweight star Francis Nagnnou posed with Andre Onana at Old Trafford as he took a trip to watch Ruben Amorim's first home game in charge.
Amorim was leading United for the second game since taking over from Erik ten Hag, with his first a disappointing draw away to Ipswich in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
But things went a little better on Thursday, as Amorim picked up his first win against Norwegian Champions Bodo/Glimt, coming from behind to run out 3-2 victors.
Rasmus Hojlund scored the winner, netting either side of half-time as he praised Amorim for a team talk at the interval that inspired him to get on the end of Manuel Ugarte's cross to net his second and United's third of the game.
But the players on the pitch weren't the only stars in attendance, with Ngannou taking a break out of the fight game to go and watch the team and catch up with friend and countryman Onana.
The duo, who were both born in Cameroon, are good friends and have caught up before at a United game - snapped in the States during United's pre-season tour last year. On this occasion, they posed for cameras pitchside on a chilly Manchester night.

They have crossed paths before at a Untied game, with Ngannou an avid Red Devils fan
Onana was all smiles as he, donning his United tracksuit, clenched his fist for the photo. Ngannou - a big United fan - wearing a light jacket and red cap, did the same.
In another photo, the duo were seen deep in conversation, with Onana playing 90 minutes during the Europa League tie.
He made two saves in the game, but was unable to keep out efforts from Hakon Evjen and Philip Zinckernagel that saw United trail 2-1 before Hojlund's brace.
Ngannou, meanwhile, last fought in mid-October, knocking out Renan Ferreira in the Professional Fighters League in Saudi Arabai.
It was the former UFC heavyweight champion's first MMA bout for nearly two years, having taken up boxing - he was knocked out by Anthony Joshua last time out earlier this year.
