Iliman Ndiaye has become a fan favourite already at Everton, and it appears he has a favourite teammate judging by his wholesome post on Instagram.
Everton‘s decision to buy Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille has already proven to be a smart one, as he’s been one of the standouts in what has been an up and down season.
The Brentford clash was one of the most frustrating performances so far this season, as the ten men proved to be unbreakable in the second half at Goodison Park.
However, Everton fans took to X after the game to hail Iliman Ndiaye as the only shining light.
This isn’t the first time Ndiaye has come in for praise this season, as he starred against Ipswich and often looks like the only creative outlet in games.
It looks as if he’s enjoying his time on Merseyside and has even made a new friend. He took to Instagram today to share a picture of him and one Everton teammate with a rather wholesome caption.
Iliman Ndiaye says Orel Mangala always makes him laugh
Orel Mangala is a player whose future is far from certain at Everton, as he’s currently set to head back to Lyon at the end of the season once his loan deal expires.
However, given their current financial situation, there could be the possibility for Everton to sign Mangala for cheap in the summer, should they deem him worthy of a permanent spot.

It certainly looks as if Ndiaye would want the central midfielder to stay beyond the summer, as he recently posted a picture of them two together in training.
In an Instagram story, Ndiaye and Mangala can be seen hugging and laughing at Finch Farm, and the caption states.
‘This guy always making me laugh’.
Orel Mangala’s chances of staying at Lyon
It has been claimed that Everton want to sign Orel Mangala permanently.
Mangala has impressed at times alongside Idrissa Gana Gueye this season, with Everton fans picking him out as the shining light against Southampton.
However, a summer move could very much depend on the price tag.
There have been rumours of a potential £12 million fee due to the financial crisis Lyon has been in, but there’s still plenty of the season to go, so no decision needs to be made now.
