Chelsea have made it four wins out of four in the Europa Conference League after they recorded a 2-0 victory over Heidenheim in Thursday’s game at the Voith-Arena.
The Blues opened the scoring in the 51st minute through Christopher Nkunku, who showed great control to latch on to Jadon Sancho’s pass and coolly fire home.
Mykhailo Mudryk then made the result safe for Chelsea in the latter stages of the game, firing a great finish into the top corner after more great work from Sancho.
Although the likes of Nkunku, Mudryk and Sancho stood out for their goals and assists, Chelsea had a back line player to thank for keeping them in the game.
Filip Jorgensen, Chelsea’s deputy goalkeeper, delivered an impressive performance as he made a number of saves to keep Heidenheim at bay.
Stamford Bridge cult hero Joe Cole loved what he saw from Jorgensen and sung his praises on TNT Sports, also going on to make a prediction about the Dane.

Joe Cole hails Chelsea keeper Filip Jorgensen
Cole said Jorgensen was good in goal, though he tends to go under the radar because “he isn’t flashy”,
The former England international also backed Jorgensen to push for Premier League starts over first-choice keeper Robert Sanchez.
“Mykhailo Mudryk did what Mudryk does,” Cole said as he assessed the key moments of the game. “He was on the periphery until he scored.
“Christopher Nkunku has proved he is a goalscorer. He is so calm in front of the goal.
“Filip Jorgensen was also good in goal. You don’t hear his name too much because he isn’t flashy.
“He has faced a lot of shots and he has produced moments. He will be pushing for a start over Robert Sanchez.
“There were a lot of positives for Enzo Maresca’s side. We all expected them to cruise through this competition, but they’ve done it in style.”
