Gareth Bale expects Liverpool to beat Arsenal and Manchester City to the Premier League title. The Merseysiders are running riot in the English top-flight under Arne Slot.
Liverpool sit top of the Premier League with 10 wins in 12 games and are eight points clear of second-placed City. The Cityzens and the fourth-placed Gunners have struggled to keep pace in the first half of the season.
Bale reckons Slot's men will be crowned champions in the Dutch coach's remarkable debut season. In an interview with TNT Sports, he backed the Reds to prevail.
Liverpool last won the title in 2020 under Jurgen Klopp, ending a 30-year wait for a league title. They have failed to end City's stranglehold on English football for the past four years.
Yet Pep Guardiola's reigning champions have slumped recently, losing their last three league games. They are without a win in six games, and the tide appears to be turning in the Merseysiders' favor.
Arsenal are still in contention, although they are nine points behind. Mikel Arteta's Gunners have managed six wins and two defeats in 12 games but held the league leaders to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates in October.

Arteta showered praise on Slot last month for his immediate impact on Liverpool this season. The Arsenal boss, who held a frosty relationship with Klopp, discussed what his Dutch counterpart has got right at Anfield (via OneFootball):
"They are in a really good moment, a great run. You can see the touch that he’s put on them, to a team that was already very strong. You can see his fingerprints there on that team."
Slot had big shoes to fill when replacing Klopp after the club's beloved former German boss departed at the end of last season. Many expected a period of transition, especially with little transfer business done in the summer.
There has been no need for a rebuild as Slot has got a Klopp-built team firing on all cylinders. They are also top of the UEFA Champions League table with five wins from as many games.
Slot's biggest test comes on Sunday (December 1) when City visit Anfield in a top-of-the-table clash. The match will likely have massive title implications, as Liverpool can pull 11 points clear of Guardiola's men with victory.
