Arsenal will face West Ham United in their 13th Premier League game of the season.
Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer has backed Arsenal to beat West Ham United in their Premier League clash at London Stadium on Saturday (November 30).
The Gunners, who finished second last term with 89 points, are in fourth place in the Premier League standings with 22 points from 12 games. After a four-match winless run in the league, they defeated Nottingham Forest 3-0 at home last Saturday.
West Ham, on the other hand, are currently 14th in the table with 15 points from 12 matches so far. They registered a 2-0 victory against Newcastle in their league contest at St. James' Park earlier this Monday (November 25).

In his column for Metro, Shearer shared his thoughts on Arsenal's upcoming league game at the Hammers' home ground. He wrote:
"It was a great result for West Ham on Monday. I was really impressed with the way they nullified Newcastle and [Aaron] Wan-Bissaka did really well. I thought Max Kilman was superb. We saw Arsenal's result in the Champions League and now going to West Ham, I think they'll have too much quality in forward positions and will take the three points."
The Gunners, who defeated Portuguese outfit Sporting CP 5-1 in the UEFA Champions League on November 26, are considered the favourites to beat West Ham. They have recorded seven wins and two losses in their last 11 meetings against Julen Lopetegui's team.
Paul Merson heaps praise on Arsenal captain
During a recent chat on Sky Sports, Gunners great Paul Merson was asked if his former team have regained their usual form of late. He replied (h/t Metro):
"Yeah, the last two games. They were outstanding against Nottingham Forest when they needed to be. They just dropped it down into second gear, but they were outstanding. A brilliant performance against Sporting Lisbon. Martin Odegaard makes the difference. We talk about Manchester City and Rodri. It's the same with Odegaard. Odegaard makes things happen."
Sharing more thoughts on Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard, he added:
"He knits it together for them. He brings the best out of Bukayo Saka as well – even more out of him – given he is already an amazing player. Declan Rice, with Thomas Partey sitting in front of the back four, he can bomb on."
Odegaard, 25, was out of action for around two months owing to an ankle problem. However, he has laid out two assists in his past three games across competitions for the north London outfit.
The left-footed attacking midfielder is likely to start his sixth Premier League clash of the term in the Gunners' upcoming league trip to West Ham United.
