Guro Reiten and Mayra Ramirez have been shortlisted for the Women’s Super League Player of the Month award for November.
Both were in impressive form over the last month as the Blues won all four matches against Everton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United. Those victories extended our winning start to eight games from eight and moved [Sonia Bompastor](/en/teams/profile/sonia-bompastor)’s side five points clear at the top of the WSL table.
Reiten was on the scoresheet in each of those games, increasing her tally to six for the season, and making her our top goal scorer in the league.
Against Everton, the Norwegian international netted our third in a 5-0 win before scoring our second goal in respective 3-0 and 2-0 victories against Liverpool and Man City. She scored the match-winner from the penalty spot in last weekend’s win over the Red Devils.
Ramirez netted twice in November and what important goals they were. She set us on our way by opening the scoring against Liverpool, before doing the same in our victory at Stamford Bridge over City.
Our Blues are nominated for the Player of the Month prize alongside Steph Catley (Arsenal), Alessia Russo (Arsenal) Katrina Gorry (West Ham), Anna Patten (Aston Villa), and Khadija Shaw (Manchester City).
Voting is now open and will close at 11am on Monday 2 December. You can cast your vote for Guro and Mayra [here](https://ngx.me/6a5wC58?channel=website&medium=direct&source=web)!
