After a series of bad results, Arsenal have bounced back in fine form and Mikel Arteta will want to continue this positive run by beating West Ham United in the Premier League this weekend.
The Gunners thumped five goals past Sporting in the UCL and with that renewed confidence, they will head to the London Stadium to take on a Hammers side who are sitting 14th on the league table.
Arsenal, on the other hand, are fourth on the table and based on how Chelsea and Manchester City perform this weekend, Arteta’s side will have the chance to move into the second spot. On the flip side, if Arsenal cannot pick up three points then they could fall out of the top four.
West Ham go into this match with a little bit of confidence because, in their previous match, they beat Newcastle United. However, Arsenal have scored 8 goals in their last two outings and hence, this should be an easy win for them.
Arsenal’s injury updates and team news:
Tomiyasu and Ben White will both be unavailable and there are question marks over Gabriel’s fitness after he was forced off with an injury in Tuesday’s Champions League win over Sporting.
While Mikel Arteta hasn’t fully ruled out Gabriel, the manager has clarified that there are massive question marks.
Talking about Gabriel, the Arsenal boss updated in his press conference: “Wait and see. I can’t [give you an update], not because I don’t want to.”
Hopefully, Gabriel is ready and fit to play but if the defender misses out then Calafiori will move into central defence and Kiwior will slot in at left-back.

Oleksandr Zinchenko is also an option for the left-back role but we don’t think he is one of the favourites for Arteta.
Apart from this one potential reshuffle, we don’t think the Arsenal manager will make any unnecessary changes to the starting lineup which faced Sporting in midweek.
Leandro Trossard came off the bench to score vs Sporting but Martinelli also put his name on the scoresheet in that match so the right-winger’s selection will be a bit of a dilemma for Mikel Arteta.
Arsenal predicted lineup vs West Ham United:
Goalkeeper: David Raya.
Defenders: Gabriel, William Saliba, Calafiori, Jurrien Timber.
Midfielders: Declan Rice, Odegaard, Thomas Partey.
Attackers: Bukayo Saka, Martinelli, Kai Havertz.
