Alisson Becker has reiterated an intention to see out his Liverpool contract. And he has hinted a return to former club Internacional would interest him over a departure to Saudi Arabia.
Alisson was wanted by Saudi Pro League clubs back in the summer transfer window but the Brazil international opted to stay put at Anfield and he has spoken about his hope to remain on Merseyside until 2027 when his deal expires.
Asked about a potential move back to Internacional in Brazil, who he served for three years before his 2016 switch to Roma, Alisson said it would be something he may consider but confirmed he wants to be a Liverpool player for the rest of his current contract at the very least, talking up his growing importance behind the scenes at Anfield in the process.

"I watch all Inter's games," Alisson told OneFootball. "There is always that feeling of good memories and desire to wear the Inter shirt again.
"I have a three-year contract with Liverpool. I think the future is not definitive for anyone but within football I hope to fulfil my contract here in England and then, after that I'm open.
“My role as a leader is to make sure everyone's grounded. At the same time believe that it is possible to complete our ambition of winning the Premier League and every title we compete for.
“We have the quality to do that, we have it. Now we need consistency. We have to be consistent both in results and in performances, and yet we recognise that there are many things that we can still change.”
Alisson has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since early October, when he pulled up in the second half of a 1-0 win over Crystal Palace. The goalkeeper is back in training but it's doubtful for a recall on Sunday when Manchester City visit Anfield.
“My recovery is going very well,” he said. “It's been seven weeks since the day of the injury. It was a tendon injury in the hamstring, so whenever it involves a tendon it is something more delicate and, since I had an injury a few days before, a couple of weeks before, it requires even greater care and longer recovery time. So everything is going very well, as planned.”
On new boss Arne Slot and the differences with former manager Jurgen Klopp, who brought him to England for a then world-record fee for a goalkeeper of £65m from Roma in 2018, Alisson added: “I like the way [Slot] deals with players. He's a direct guy, he's convinced of his ideas, very clear in his communication.
“He is able to convey his ideas and importantly, tell them in a way that every player will understand. They have common ideas and are both quality coaches. I think that, more than making comparisons, I think it's important to praise what Slot has done from my point of view: he's improved the way we play as a team.
“As you said, he took a model already established by Klopp, kept the things he thought were good, but brought up his personality in some other ways."
