**Newcastle United head coach Eddie Howe faced the press on Friday ahead of Saturday's trip to Crystal Palace.**
The Magpies are looking to return to winning ways following a disappointing defeat to West Ham at St James' Park on Monday.
Eddie Howe's side currently sit 10th in the Premier League table. Despite this, they are just five points off second in a razor thin top half.
Howe provided injury updates to Bruno Guimaraes, Joe Willock, Callum Wilson and Lewis Miley in his press conference. It looks like they are all in contention for a runout at Selhurst Park.
The media also quizzed Howe on possible suspensions.

Eddie Howe: Newcastle United players "likely to be booked"
----------------------------------------------------------
Newcastle have a number of players nearing a suspension for accumulating yellow cards through the season. Dan Burn missed the defeat to West Ham through suspension after he picked up five red cards.
Two players are at risk of suspension if they are booked against Palace. Joelinton and Fabian Schar could be suspended.
There is still seven games to go but several other players could still pass the threshold.
> On possible suspensions, Howe said: "It's a difficult one to go into too much detail on that with the players because they need to be free to play their game. Joelinton's biggest strength is his ability to win the ball and be physical. Part of the reason I withdrew him on Monday is to make sure I had him for the next game because he's such a pivotal player for us.

Which Newcastle United players are at risk of a suspension?
-----------------------------------------------------------
The yellow card cut off isn't until 19 games have been played in the Premier League season so it isn't just Joelinton or Schar that are at risk.
Both Lewis Hall and Sandro Tonali are on three yellow cards, so have seven games to avoid another two bookings. Bruno Guimaraes, Sean Longstaff and Lloyd Kelly sit on two while Joe Willock and Jacob Murphy have one booking.
After his suspension, Dan Burn now must avoid another five yellow cards for another 20 games or he will be given a two game suspension.
It isn't all doom and gloom in a defensive sense as both Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles should be back before any further suspensions occur.
