'There were signs': Sean Dyche has already spotted something different about Man United under…

Everton make the short trip to Old Trafford on Sunday where they will be taking on Manchester United in the Premier League.

Sean Dyche and his side have shown some positives after 12 games in the league with a fairly solid defence formed at Goodison Park.

But Everton are having some major issues in front of goals, which has led to the Toffees sitting just two points off the relegation zone.

After back-to-back goalless draws, Everton will be coming up against United in their first league game at Old Trafford under Ruben Amorim.

Alan Shearer is expecting United to beat Everton on Sunday on the back of their Europa League victory on Thursday night.

Having watched the game, Dyche has shared what he has noticed in the early stages of the new manager’s time in Manchester.

What Everton’s Sean Dyche has noticed about Ruben Amorim’s Man United

Over the weekend, United played for the first time under Amorim and were unable to prevail against Ipswich Town in a 1-1 draw.

With two games now to analyse in the Portuguese manager’s time at United, Dyche told the media on Friday what he thinks Amorim has changed already.

“No, I don’t know much of his work, other than you know stuff from the TV and stats and facts, but don’t know much of his work,” said Dyche.

“I mean, you know, there were signs, clear signs of how he wanted to adapt to different passing thoughts, and, you know, the way the team were trying to operate.

“That’s his challenge to get that to happen quickly, and it’s our challenge to make sure it doesn’t, of course, and go deliver our performance, you know, because it’s important to remember what we do, you know, and certainly to be ready for anything.

“He might change back, don’t know, but it does suggest he likes playing three at the back, at least. There may be a variance in front of the three.”

With some difficult games ahead, the Toffees will be up against it with Dyche already under pressure at Everton following an underwhelming start to the campaign.

Everton’s record vs Manchester United

The Toffees have only been able to win two of their 12 games in the league this season and are without a win in their last four.

Paul Merson has predicted Everton to lose against Man United on the weekend, despite admitting he has a sneak feeling about the Blues.

However, it is a fixture which has not favoured Everton over the years with the Red Devils enjoying their recent meetings.
