United hold talks with Arsenal’s target with 26 G/A this season

Man United have held talks about signing Arsenal target Omar Marmoush

Marmoush already has 26 direct goal involvements this season in just 18 games

Premier League champions Man City are also keeping tabs on Egyptian forward

Omar Marmoush has been in superb form this season. He has scored 15 goals and picked 11 assists in just 18 matches. By doing so, he has helped Frankfurt to stay on 2nd position in Bundesliga and 3rd position in Europa League.

Marmoush has already surpassed his best assist tally in the season. In addition, he is only 2 goals short to equal his highest goal-scoring tally in his career. He is one of the most sought players in Europe right now.

Marmoush can play anywhere in the front line. He can play on both wings but mainly plays as a striker. In addition, he can also operate as an attacking midfielder which makes him key asset for any team he plays in.

Man United have held talks about signing Omar Marmoush

As per Sky Sports Germany, the Reds Devils have held internal talks about signing the 25 year old. The Egyptian forward is also looked upon by other Premier League giants like Man City and Arsenal.

Man United can view Marmoush as an upgrade on Zirkzee or Hojlund. Amorim can even use him on the left wing and replace struggling Marcus Rashford. But, the Egyptian is not the first choice signing as the Red Devils are planning to reunite Amorim with Gyokeres.

On the other hand, Arsenal will love to have player like Omar Marmoush in their side. The 25 year old can compete for the starting place at left wing or striker. In addition, he can provide a quality backup for Saka and Odegaard whenever required.

Lastly, Man City are in the worst phase of Pep Guardiola’s era. They are winless in last six games and hence we can expect some big moves from them in January. Their priority will be to find replacement for Rodri but some attacking signings can be expected too.
