Finally some good news on Everton player ahead of Man Utd clash, fans will be thrilled - View

Everton will travel to Old Trafford to face Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Toffees are without a win in their last four games, and Sean Dyche is under tremendous pressure.

This is a crucial phase for Everton as they will face teams like United, Wolves, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Nottingham Forest one after another, and they could find themselves in the drop zone if the results do no go their way.

On the positive side, Dyche is close to getting back some of the key players from injuries.

Seamus Coleman is back on the grass, and it won’t be long before he joins the first-team squad. Youssef Chermiti played 45 minutes for the Under-21s on Monday night and he was in action for the U-21 side on Friday as well.

However, the latest update on Armando Broja should excite the Everton fan base.

Armando Broja injury update

Dyche has confirmed that he has spoken to Broja about giving him some minutes against United this weekend.

Broja, who joined the Toffees in the summer from Chelsea on loan, has yet to play a game for his new club. He was struggling with a foot injury and returned to training last week.

The 23-year-old striker will play some minutes for the reserve side on Friday, and Dyche has hinted that he could be in the squad for the game against United.

The Toffees boss said: “We’ll see how [Broja] gets on today. He’s done a lot of background work and I’ve spoken to him about possibly being involved [for Manchester United].”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored only two goals in 12 starts in the Premier League, while Beto does not feature prominently in Dyche’s plans.

Broja is a fantastic striker, and getting him back would be a massive boost. Having said that, he has been out for so long, and it would be unfair to ask him to deliver instantly.

The forward line would be further boosted as Chermiti is close to returning to the first team after a long absence. He got 64 minutes of action in the Premier League 2 encounter with Nottingham Forest on Friday.

Broja played until the 71st minute for the Everton U-21 side today against Forest.
