Everton haven’t had the best season so far, but Sean Dyche will surely be delighted to hear what Ruben Amorim said ahead of the Manchester United game.

Old Trafford is set to host the Toffees on 1 December in the Premier League, with the Portuguese manager looking for his first win in the English top flight.

As for the Blues, Dyche needs to get some points on the board before his team gets dragged into the relegation zone.

Everton are 15th in the league table at the moment, just two points above 18th place Ipswich Town.

The Toffees may likely find themselves at risk of going down to the Championship in the coming weeks, with the Blues set to face Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in a span of 16 days in December.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

The game against Man United is another challenging task for Everton, who look physically and emotionally drained after their recent draws.

Manchester United will make changes v Everton

Dyche has some reason to rejoice, though, ahead of the Toffees’ trip to Manchester, with Amorim admitting that he’ll make changes to his team ahead of the fixture.

Speaking to the media ahead of the match, as relayed by Chirs Wheeler on X, the former Sporting head coach lamented about the schedule as the Red Devils play their third game in a week.

“It is what it is. We already know that it will be like that, so no excuse,” Amorim said. “We should be ready for Sunday, and we have to win. We will rotate players, and we will be ready.”

The Blues need every advantage they can get right now, and hopefully, the Man United squad will be depleted after their 3-1 win over Bodo/Glimt at home.

It remains to be seen how the Red Devils will set up, but with the Portuguese manager still trying to teach his style at Manchester, there couldn’t have been a better time for Dyche to face them, and he can’t squander it.
