Dan Bardell believes Boubacar Kamara will start for Aston Villa against Chelsea after being substituted against Juventus in mid-week.
The Frenchman was on top form in the Champions League on Wednesday (27 November), contributing to a clean sheet in his third start since February.
There is a chance that the 25-year-old is benched for the trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday (1 December) after such a long time out through injury.
Sky Sports and talkSPORT journalist Bardell thinks that the midfielder will start in West London after being substituted against the Old Lady at Villa Park.
Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bardell said: “I think the reason that he came off in the Champions League was with Chelsea in mind.
“Emery will know that against a team like Chelsea, he’ll have a better chance of winning with Kamara in the team.

“I actually think if it wasn’t for us having such a difficult game on Sunday, he might have played 90 minutes against Juventus.
“*I think he’ll start, I think he has to start and he gives us a much bigger chance of winning.*“

The ex-Marseille man has been consistently superb for the Villans whenever he has played so it was a blow when he picked up such a lengthy injury.
Against Juve, the midfielder proved that he hasn’t lost any of his ability with an all-action performance both going forward and defensively.
This was exactly what Villa needed after a tough time against Crystal Palace and his influence would certainly be a boost against Chelsea.
