Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Gabriel Magalhaes ahead of the Premier League clash against West Ham United on the road.
The Gunners take on the Hammers at the London Stadium on Saturday evening and ahead of the game, Gabriel is doubtful with an injury.
He was substituted in the final stages of the Champions League win over Sporting CP and when asked for an update, Arteta said:
"Wait and see. I can’t [give you an update], not because I don’t want to."
Judging by the Spaniard's comments, Gabriel may have suffered a minor knock and he could be available for the London derby.
Arsenal have found form since the international break with back-to-back wins and will go into the Hammers game as slight favourites.
However, the Gunners can't take their opposition lightly. The Hammers beat them 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium towards the end of last year.
Back then, Arsenal created several clear-cut chances on goal, but the Hammers came on top with an impressive counter-attacking display.
