Sean Dyche looks to be running out of time to persuade the necessary leaders that he can push Everton up the Premier League table.

The Toffees are just two points above the relegation zone after 12 matches, only claiming two wins so far, and the 0-0 draw against Brentford on Saturday 23 November might just have been the final straw.

While a point against the Bees at Goodison Park does not seem like the worst outcome, they had lost all five of their league away matches prior to the game and played with 10 men for the best part of 50 minutes.

Dyche’s players failed to break down Thomas Frank’s team during the second half, and with fans becoming frustrated with their side’s performances, manager replacements are now being linked.

Ex-Everton manager David Moyes is being considered on Merseyside [Alan Nixon], news that has divided opinion amongst the fans, but it only spells trouble for the current man in charge.

Friedkin Group to sack Sean Dyche after Everton takeover is completed?

Pressure is growing on the club to make changes, and once the Friedkins complete their purchase of the Toffees from Farhad Moshiri, Dyche’s exit could be one of their first acts as owners.

According to The Esk, a reliable journalist when it comes to all things Everton, has reported that it would cost under £3million to terminate his current deal at Goodison as part of the overall purchase price.

The Friedkins will be keen to start afresh once Moshiri is finally gone. For just £3million, it seems like a bit of a no-brainer decision for the potential new owners, given their success and wealth.

Supporters have always been grateful for his early achievements on Merseyside, especially after leading them to safety last term, but his credit is draining quickly as his side continues to stall on the pitch.

While no decision has been made yet, the low pay-off fee could certainly be an incentive to relieve Dyche of his duties.

In other Everton news, one regular could soon be axed from the starting XI after what Sean Dyche said at Finch Farm.
