Real Madrid have on Friday moved to reveal their appreciation for the club’s arch rivals, Barcelona.
This, of course, comes on a special day for all associated with the Blaugrana.
November 29th marks the 125th anniversary of Barcelona’s existence as a sporting entity.
A lavish gala is in turn currently taking place in Catalunya’s capital, with a whole host of the most iconic figures from the club’s storied history in attendance.
Messages of congratulations, meanwhile, have come pouring in over the course of the day, from high-profile players and clubs across the world of football.
And, as alluded to above, a short time ago, the most head-turning of all was forthcoming.
In a post across their social media platforms, Barcelona’s most historic rivals, Real Madrid, unveiled the following heartfelt message:
‘Congratulations on your 125th anniversary, FC Barcelona. It is an honour for Real Madrid to compete with a great rival like you throughout our history.’
