Oliver Glasner confirmed that Chadi Riad returned to [Crystal Palace](/sport/palace/) training this week.
The Moroccan international, signed from Barcelona for £14m, suffered an MCL injury during the first ten minutes of Palace’s 4-0 EFL Cup victory over Norwich in September.
Following 14 weeks in recovery, the centre-back is back in training and will work towards building on his two Palace starts.
Glasner shared that the 21-year-old is in high spirits but confessed it will take a while to get him back up to scratch.
“He came back and did really well," Glasner told the _News Shopper_. "He’s enjoyed it.
"Chadi has been out for 14 weeks now. He needs training, which is a bit of a problem because we don’t have training next week as it’s a three-game week.
“It’s good to have him back. He’s enjoying it.”
