Two Madridistas started this game. Shei started on right back alongside Pujadas, Codina, and Ouahabi in defense, while Teresa played with Aitana and Patri in the midfield.
Tere played as pivot and was in charge of set pieces, taking all Spain's corners during her 74 minutes on the pitch. Sheila operated on the right flank, making triangles with Aitana and Mariona, while sometimes cutting inside during her carries to move the ball to the other side. The right back played the full 90' in this encounter.
In the first 10-15 minutes South Korea looked like they could give La Roja some troubles, but it ended up being a one-sided game. With Pina scoring in the 4th minute, Spain have already opened the score sheet. Spaniards scored two more goals until halftime. In 33' Real Sociedad's Amaiur Sarriegi scored for 2-0 after Guijarro's side pass through Korea's entire defensive line.
The third goal scored in the last minute of the first half by Aitana, was assisted by Teresa Abelleira. Tere found space to pass to Aitana who then shot it inside.
The second half was entirely straightforward after sentencing the game right before going to the changing rooms at halftime. There were two more debuts made in the second part of the game, after Athletic Club's Adriana Nanclares making hers by starting on goal in this game. The Levante Badalona winger, Maca Portales, came on in 61' for Mariona to make her debut for the first team. Athletic Club midfielder Maite Zubieta came on for Teresa in 74' making her debut as well.
Before coming off, Tere took a corner kick in 63' which ended in Spain's 4th goal of the game. The ball ended up getting punched by the Korean goalkeeper. The attempted clearance found Vicky López who then shot it in.
The fifth and final goal of the encounter was also scored by López, this time shooting a rocket from outside the box in 90+3'.
Real Madrid's Olga Carmona and María Méndez didn't come on. Spain will play France on December 3rd for the last international fixture of 2024.
