Former Manchester United midfielder, Owen Hargreaves has sent a message to the club’s newly appointed manager Ruben Amorim.
Hargreaves warned Amorim about his midfield tactics at Old Trafford, stating that it will be exposed by Arsenal and Manchester City.
Recall that Amorim recorded his first victory as Man United manager in his debut game at Old Trafford on Thursday.
This was after the Red Devils came from behind to defeat Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League.
Amorim started Manuel Ugarte and captain Bruno Fernandes in the central midfield, with Mason Mount and Garnacho playing off Rasmus Hojlund.
Hargreaves is, however, of the opinion that Amorim should play a three-man midfield when they play Arsenal in the Premier League next Wednesday.
The former player pointed out that Amorim doesn’t have the same kind of players he had at Sporting at Mann Utd.

Hargreaves believes he would need two super-athletes to cover the distances if he is going to play two midfielders.
According to the former footballer, it is going to be difficult playing such tactics against Manchester City or Arsenal.
“I think it’s a work in progress, we need to be patient but we’re getting there,” Hagreaves said on TNT Sports
