Manchester United fans all make same point after Ruud van Nistelrooy joins Leicester City

Ruud van Nistelrooy left Manchester United earlier this month and has now joined Leicester City.

The former centre-forward made the return to Old Trafford over the summer, acting as an assistant to Erik ten Hag.

However, when Ten Hag was let go by the Red Devils, Ruud van Nistelrooy stepped up to take charge of Manchester United.

The 48-year-old was only in the dugout in Manchester for a brief time but he really left his mark.

Leicester City lost 5-2 to Man Utd in the Carabao Cup when Ruud was at the helm before then beating them 3-0 in the Premier League just over a week later.

But after Ruben Amorim took the permanent job recently, the Dutchman opted to leave Manchester United.

Van Nistelrooy has now been confirmed as the Leicester manager, replacing Steve Cooper after he was dismissed on Sunday.
